A canoe raft is a vessel made up of canoes and covered with a wooden platform. While two to three people can take a trip with a single canoe, parties of up to 12 people can ride the canoe raft. A canoe raft is perfect for taking a trip together for student groups, families and groups of friends.
Rafting is easy and safe – there are six seats for paddlers and the rest of group can sit on the wooden platform. On the raft it’s possible to stand up, move around, take pictures of nature, fish or even make a picnic.
We hold canoe raft trips on the Pärnu River. The trips are 3 km and 13 km long (lasting 1 and 4-5 hours). The trips start from Samliku or Kurgja.
A guide is available for your party for an extra fee, should you want one. The guide knows the river and the area.
